My theory on chocolate and women, will soon be published in America’s Scientific Physiology Journal. After conducting extensive research on this subject I have come to an astounding conclusion. I will now announce on this blog for the first time a new equation for proving women’s affection for chocolate…………..
Chocolate + Women = Happy Camper
Women – Chocolate= Admission to Mental Institution
Profound isn’t it…..
Yes ladies it’s true, you dig YOUR chocolate! You are fanatical, passionate, and demanding when it comes to chocolate.
There have been times in my life I have wondered, am I the only one who acts a certain way, or thinks a certain way. This week I have quickly come to realize I am not the only woman out there who loves the “C” word! I have almost 300 comments that demonstate evidence proclaiming a womans need for Chocolate. ๐
Which has lead to me wonder if others also…………..
- let the socks stay in the dryer for several cycles hoping the matching sock will just magically appear
- write something on their “to do” list that has already been done, just for the pleasure of crossing it off!
- snack and pick at the dinner as you are cooking it so much that by the time dinner is ready your not that hungry.
- fall asleep in your child’s bed, sometimes before they do, when you are putting them to sleep.
- call someone and then forget who you called
- love getting a hair cut, it’s feels like a mini massage, costs less, and can be so relaxing.
- keep your own “personal” stash of chocolate hidden from the rest of the family.
So are there others out there who are like minded, or am I unique in my “quirks”? ๐
BTW, since we are talking about chocolate, click here to read more about why I named my blog Jesus and Dark Chocolate, it was one of my first posts.
Signed,
Your friend in chocolate addictions
Yes, yes, yes and yes. Oh, and yes.
Okay, except for the sock one (it’s too hot to where socks here), I can identify with EVERY little quirk! And, before now, I have never given it much thought. But, now that you put it on paper… they all are a bit quirky! (But I won’t give up my chocolate!)
Oh, and your equation is dead-on correct. You should win a big, scholarly prize for your findings.
Ugh! WEAR not WHERE. I haven’t had my chocolate yet today. Going to look up my nearest mental institution right now.
Oh yes, I can SO identify with all of those quirks.
I have found that raiding the bag of chocolate chips in the pantry does wonders when there isn’t any proper chocolate to be found. ๐
Love your blog!
You are so funny!!!
Have a blessed day! ๐
I haven’t tried the sock trick, good idea though!
To do list -definately
Snack at dinner prep – all the time!
I don’t fit in the crib or I’m sure I would!
I’d take the hairdresser home with me just to wash my hair if I could!
My husband doesn’t like chocolate so whatever I buy is safe!
Very intuitive post!
I always hide my chocolate and wait till the kids are asleep before I eat it. I don’t share well.
You are truly a kindred spirit in more ways than the chocolate one. My hubby and I were reading your blog last night, and he thought I had been posting on your blog . . . : )
I could answer “Yes” to all questions posed above as well.
I am also coming to comment today to let you know you won my Christmas Card giveaway at Without Fear. I loved your singing and you randomly came up — so woo hoo for you! Email me and let me know your address info. I’ll get them to you in September. : )
I’ll be back to visit again!
I’m usually a sharer, but when my kids were little and I had a box of Ethel M or See’s chocolates I would never let them have a piece! I didn’t because to them it was just a piece of candy, but to me it was a little piece of heaven! They wouldn’t kow the difference between a Hershey’s kiss or an Ethel M truffle~you know what I mean? Now that they are older and they taste the difference I just buy a bigger box!
Thanks for your prayers! I am doing pretty well and anxious to get the other one done and over with! Have a great week!
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and YES! You are not alone!
Hi, I just discovered your blog. I’ll take the haircut one step further, I love having my teeth cleaned because someone is actually taking care of *me*! Please pass the chocolate.
