So blessed today by these wonderful humans. They gave of their time today to spend time worshiping with Curt and I . I am reminded once again of God’s provision and care for us through His people. . Many times I get frustrated with the length of this journey BUT and it’s a big BUT (note to those that think that way..not a butt😂)I have been encouraged in this journey so many times that God is faithful and good even when my circumstances are not. Took me a long time to see that BUT it’s truth friends. 💕🙏 . Your promise still stands Great is your faithfulness Thanks to @mandssell for being a constant and faithful friend and setting this up today it was a true blessing in our storm . . . #doitagain #endalz #godspeople #lcbc #godsfaithfulness

Vacation Part 2 🏔 Banff National Park in Canada did not disappoint!! Do you see the colors of the lakes and streams? All natural God made beauty. We have always had a love affair for the mountains and this trip certainly fostered that love. We were awed by the majesty of the mountains and their beauty. Psalm 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the mountains- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord....🏔 •So fitting, YES our help on this crazy journey has come from the Lord. So I continue to lift my eyes to the mountains 💕 •oh and if you haven’t yet... go do something fun and crazy with your family. Create new memories, laugh a lot...look to the mountains together. #lakelouise #banff #endalz💜 #familyadventures

Vacations have always been a thing for our family. Even back in the days when we had no money we still would take the tent out on some kind of adventure with lots of packed PB&J sandwiches. Curt and I always thought having FUN together as a family was/is important. • That is why even when things with Curt were chaotic and difficult I still insisted on a vacation. • I know I have written a lot on biblical principles of walking through grief and pain and even recorded that recent podcast. But the one thing I have not mentioned is the power of good ole laughter and fun. • There is such safety, peace and healing in having fun and taking new adventures together • There should be no guilt in the midst of grief in having some fun and cracking up so bad you almost pee your pants 🤫🤣😂. It is a necessary part of moving forward. Sure I have said so many times on this trip....oh my gosh Curt would love this...I wish he could see this • But we are out here doing this big trip and having fun and laughing. I know if he could understand ...he would be proud of us ~Go Adventure and Laugh together ~ •Badlands South Dakota •Mt Rushmore •Yellowstone National Park,WY
