We had a great visit with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and their 3 kids. Even though the cousins are much older then my kiddos, the cousins were kind and gracious and hung out with the inventor and sportTman much to their joy, and satisfaction.
This was taken at the spot where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address.
We toured Gettysburg, ate too much, sat out on the deck to all hours of the night, watched the movie “National Treasure”, rode go-karts, went out in our canoe at a nearby lake, and picked blackberries at the lake, played lots of sports, went to church together, ordered delicious pizza, and had a wonderful visit.
The relatives came….and it was GREAT!
I’ve found that “cousinhood” transends ages. My kiddos fall are younger than the majority of their cousins, yet much older than the two and five year old. Somehow when we’re all together they seems to know that family rules, no matter the age. Nice pic!
