I always enjoy reading everyone’s Friday Fave Five each week. What a great group of ladies, if you haven’t joined feel free to visit Susanne and play along!!
Faves this week included;
This pic of my mom and I. My parents came for a visit and my Mom and I got to go out and enjoy lunch together. We enjoyed lunch at a cute place in town called the Chocolate Cafe! Really can’t go wrong with a place with a name like that!
Also loved this pic of Drums and I. We took it in a flurry as we were heading out the door for SportTman’s basketball banquet.
Also took this Fave of SportTman and I before the banquet. It’s so weird when I look at it and see my little boy, is actually quite huge!
And with spring here my kids are enjoying being outside so much more. The Inventor, captured this dare I say cute, creature in our creek the other day. I just love how my girl pulled a frog from the muddy muck of our creek and brought it up to the house to show me!
I gave blood on Wed. of this week. The whole experience was not real fun, I actually felt a bit faint this time. Probably because I did not eat much beforehand. But it makes my favorite list, because I know it’s a great thing to be able to donate blood. It truly is a life giving gift!
Sandy great photos…yes your son is quite tall! have a great weekend! Spring Break???
It always seems funny to me how in the blink of an eye our children grow up. I have a recent photo of my son holding his 2 year old daughter and they are laughing together and I sometimes wonder who that young man is.
What fabulous family photos! Love the fact that your daughter showed you the frog!! I get traumatized every time that needle is coming my way for blood. It’s great that you donate! Have a wonderful weekend.
It IS a GREAT thing to be ABLE to give blood. I gave all the time when I was young – as a matter of fact the Bloodmobile came right to my office and made it sO easy! But then came the dreaded day when they said “I’m sorry… we can’t use your blood”… I was anemic. And I have been anemic ever since! I have a horrible time storing iron! It’s so sad…
I enjoyed seeing ALL of these pictures! You just GLOW when you’re with your family! I especially like the picture of you and Drums… it’s just sweet. And I love that the Inventor brought you that frog too! My kids would still do that! All of them!
Those are awesome pictures. Best one of you and drums that I have ever seen. What a beautiful family. Miss talking to you!
What a great family you have. It is amazing to watch boys grow, isn’t it! How cool that you gave blood. My hubby is a regular blood donor as well and they have been calling because I guess they are a bit low right now. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
The Chocolate Cafe is a great name! But maybe I’d be afraid to go there 😉
Nice pictures this week. I kind of like that little frog!
Chocolate Café sounds like it was made for you. Glad you had fun with your mother. Your “little boy” certainly doesn’t look very little. Very good that you donated blood. I haven’t done that in awhile, but need to. Enjoy your weekend!
Those “little” boys do grow up, don’t they? He’s so handsome.
Sounds like you had a great week. Happy weekend!
I remember when my last child passed me in height! That’s when I realized they were truly grown up. You and your family look great! Especially the frog 🙂
Have a happy weekend!
Great picture! I especially like the one of your daughter with the frog! I think I’d love a resteraunt with the word chocolate in the name! Have a great week!
Love the pictures of you and your family. I know what you mean about your son being huge. My son towers over me….what happened? I thought it was Spring here in Ohio. Then it snowed like crazy last night. Now it has melted and the sun was out. CRAZY!
Happened upon your blog and think it is great! Blessings!
Great pics! I am not looking forward to the day that my son is taller than me. Life goes by too quickly!
what a lovely family!
i had to pop in to see Jesus
and dark chocolate.
happy palm sunday!
I am so, so late coming around, but I made it. :v)
Love the pictures. Those boys they do grow, don’t they? The picture of the Inventor made me smile because if reminded me of when we brought a frog we had found to show my mom and scared the living daylights out of her with it. LOL. You and your hubby are a great looking couple.
